What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking alpine scenery and the thrilling chairlift ride, calling it a 'spectacular view' and 'worth every minute.' The accessibility to high altitudes via the lift is a major plus. However, some find the ticket prices high and note that the glacier may have significantly melted by summer, leading to slightly unmet expectations for some.
"€14 well spent. There are two parts to the chair lift and you can pick and choose what you do. We went right to the top and back for our ticket price. If you want to you can get a single ticket either to the half way point of the top, and walk down. We went in August and the glacier had melted although you can see the valley it usually sits in. Do don't expect to see the glacier in summer although we did see snow on the mount tops."

"Outdated lifts. Go all the way up to Belvedere from macugnaga. We walked from the middle station (birky) to Belvedere and that was a very hard climb for the kids. After Belvedere, beauty awaits. Prices too high."
