"The church is of Romanesque origin. It dates back to the 11th century, although it was significantly remodeled in subsequent centuries: the pointed arches of the single-nave interior are certainly Gothic, while the apse was enlarged in the 17th century. The fourteen chapels of the Stations of the Cross surrounding it were built in 1794. What has remained unchanged is the slender bell tower, located opposite the façade and erected shortly after the church, between 1075 and 1110. With a smooth shaft and stonework, the upper section features two levels of mullioned windows decorated with hanging arches, while the lower section features more austere arrow slits. It is a positive fact that the church is open late in the summer."
