What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Porto Bianco is a popular local beach in Monopoli, appreciated for its accessibility and lively atmosphere, though it can get crowded. Visitors note the water quality improves further from shore, and while the sand is coarser, the nearby amenities and free access make it a favored spot for many.
"Nice beach but the water was dirty. Not too crowded in September. There was shadow early morning, but bring your own umbrella if you are staying longer."
Albreta Arifi
"A busy, but lovely local beach. We arrived around 10am and it was about 1/4 full with locals - a popular spot. It got busier as the day went on but still felt safe and not too cramped. It is not the same crystal clear & white sand as some of the bays further away from monopoli - but then often you pay a lot of money for them. The sand is more of a larger grain but still a lovely beach and the nearby restaurants means you can easily grab a drink when needed. A good spot for a free beach."

"Small, crowded space. Nice surroundings. Water, according to my 8yrs old, "not so clean and cold, but there is fish..."
Hard to find space to sit. Get flip-flops to walk on rocks and stuff, unless you get a spot on small, sandy beach."
