What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Darsena Medicea receives mixed reviews, with many praising the exceptional mooring assistance and reasonable fees for boaters. However, a significant drawback is the poor condition of public toilet and shower facilities. Some visitors also note frustrating policies regarding spot reservations.
"One of the most disappointing customer service. We were due to dock for two days but they impose you not to leave the harbour if you want to have your spot reserved for the second night. No sense and and super arrogant approach. They are taking advantage of the scarcity of marina in the region."

Matt (isola d’Elba)
"A very nice harbor with easy reservations by phone.
The assistance upon arrival was particularly impressive: we were picked up by dinghy and given directions, and two to four men on shore expertly helped with the lines and mooring the boat. Without this assistance, other boats would have suffered massive damage – the dinghy acted as a partial fender and nudged the incoming boat in the correct direction, preventing a collision. The assistance was calm, professional, and absolutely helpful.
At €70 per night (for a 40-foot boat), the harbor fees are reasonable given this level of service.
One star is deducted, however, for the lack of private toilet/shower facilities. The public facilities are in very poor condition and do not do the harbor justice."
