"This is a nice property but not as nice as it was when we were here 6 years ago. It is built within a historic fort and it is a pretty special place. When we were here last there were little things that were no longer there like robes in the room. They have a beautiful restaurant and we had dinner there the last time that we were there. This time although we had made reservations we found that they were serving on one of the upper decks and not in the restaurant. I don't know if that's because they don't have cooling in the restaurant or why they chose to do that but sitting on a bland patio with very few decorations just wasn't my cup of tea. We wound up eating somewhere else. There have been a number of comments about The breakfast and I found it quite expansive but unfortunately the items that should be hot like the eggs for ice cold. I guess I don't have the same special feeling that I did last time that we were there. This time through Italy we made it a point to go out of our way to spend the night there. I don't think I would do it again."
