What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Buffaure Ski Area for its stunning 'fairy tale' environment and access to the Sellaronda. Many highlight the enjoyable local slopes in Pozza as a more relaxed alternative to the demanding Sellaronda circuit. While some lifts are noted as being a bit old, the overall experience is highly recommended for its natural beauty and friendly atmosphere.
"This is the main lift to Pozza and Val di Fassa ski areas. You can as well make the Sellaronda tour. Just make sure to have enough time back to Pozza ski area. Because from Col dei Rossi on the Sellaronda tour, you can expect queuing on the main lift to reach Alba and be able to go back in the Pozza ski area. And if you are not there before 15h30, you will have to get a ski bus back to Pozza, the bus stop is opposite of the hotel. The bus trip is about 20Km and 45min. We didn’t know about that, and we finish with the ski bus back at 19h at the hotel. A long day with no time to enjoy a break. So, for Sellaronda, don’t under- estimate the time from Pozza, and leave early morning. Expect a lot of people. And no time for long break.
During the Sellaronda day we did 52km skiing, 45min bus and a lot of stress.
Other days, staying in the Pozza ski area, we had an average of 40km skiing a day, time to enjoy breaks, and no stress…. That should be the way to enjoy holidays. 😊"
