"A peaceful and beautiful place to say a prayer. The church is quiet and full of history—really special to visit.
Keep in mind: cars stop running from 12:30 to 2:30, so plan your trip around that. Behind the church, there’s a nice shady area with trees—perfect for resting and staying cool on a hot day."
Kateryna Borysenko
"Go for the expansive views and access to the Sentiero del Rio Tuia mountain hiking trail behind the church. The trail is an ancient footpath through a beautiful old growth forest to villages far south of Rapallo. This experience is shaded, cool and serene compared to the tourist congested sea side trails of Cinque Terre.
The begining of the trail is paved, it soon becomes rustic so wear hiking shoes or something similar as the surface varies, nonetheless it is an easy hike.
Near the church there are two restaurants, each with stunning views of the bay, Portofino and the sea beyond.
The church is counter reformation pasticche, though it possess a beautiful fascade, setting and is place of true devotion."

"A great way to get up the mountain. Superb views from the top and a couple of restaurants. One was full but it was a Bank Holiday. We walked back down, which was tough on the legs"
