"We were provided with buoyancy shirts and helmets, then a safety briefing by Gregoire. We walked down to the river to board the raft. There was another short briefing about paddle use. We boarded the raft one by one and set off down the river. The journey felt very safe though the river has a decent current and is fairly deep in places. We stopped at the Monte Cassino battle bridge sites particularly Amazon, Backwater and Congo. The journey distance is 5km. We hauled the boat out of the water and onto the trailer then returned to the center.
We've just been again, this time with Segio and some Italian people. It was more about the nature and the river. We did see an Otter and a lot of water fowl as its the middle of summer."
