Upon arrival, we were greeted by attentive staff who assisted with our luggage. The check-in process was swift, and the reception team was courteous and welcoming.
Our room (family room) was large and aligned with the classic grand hotel design. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were very good. However, some maintenance is needed—specifically, scratches on the room doors and squeaky wardrobe doors could use attention to preserve the overall experience.
Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was a highlight. The elegant atmosphere continued seamlessly into the dining space, where service was impeccable. The gourmet-style cuisine was delicious, with portion sizes perfectly suited for a three-course meal. The wine list was extensive and thoughtfully curated.
Breakfast was equally impressive, featuring a lavish buffet that included Champagne, fresh juices, cold meats and vegetables, hot dishes like sausages, bacon, and scrambled eggs, a variety of breads and pastries, yoghurts, fresh fruits, cakes, and sweet treats. Additional items could be ordered à la carte, adding to the indulgent experience.
This hotel truly carries the spirit of a grand establishment but with more consistent maintance needed. It has the potential to continue delighting guests who seek the glamour and luxury of early 20th-century hospitality in a 5 star (Luxury) category."

"As people have explained, this hotel is divided in a 4 star and a 5 star hotel. We stayed at the 4 star hotel but were able to have breakfast in the 5 star part which looks really nice from the outside.
The room in the 4 star hotel which was right next to it, felt like an old an very simple furnished room. Clean but small and old.
The breakfast was not special. The staff seemed to prefer serving Italian guests.
The staff was partly friendly. Partly they just ignored us when entering the building.
The private beach access was very expensive. A few meters down the road the price was a third.

No bellman to help with luggage upon arrival AND leaving the hotel, front desk service needs a serious upgrade, and there’s no poolside service - doesn’t feel like a 5 star. The gym is tiny and you have to reserve it, which feels a bit unnecessary. Rooms aren’t stocked with daily water, though housekeeping was excellent. Nice property, but if you’re expecting true 5-star service, you might be a little disappointed."
