What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Lungomare's extensive redevelopment, highlighting its modern design, abundant greenery, and focus on health and outdoor living. The car-free paths and sports facilities are a major draw. However, some express concerns about safety and security during evening hours, particularly in the Miramare area.
"The Rimini seafront has changed radically in recent years and the redevelopment project of the spaces, which adopts a new concept of outdoor living, allows you to play sports among nature, water jets, and tropical-like plants, as well as walking while breathing the sea air, stepping on a new wooden flooring. It's impossible not to notice the feeling of well-being step by step. Everything is studied down to the smallest detail, there are areas dedicated to games for children, benches and seats that recall the length of the boats, even the lighting is well spaced and you can see the various bathrooms preparing to welcome tourists for the next season. A good investment for the Municipality which has made the seafront more usable. Excellent project."
LORENZA CAVALLARO
"The project has transformed Rimini's seafront, focusing on greenery, the environment, and health. It encompasses sixteen kilometers of coastline, from Torre Pedrera to Miramare, for over seventy thousand square meters of urban regeneration.
The Parco del Mare includes a long pedestrian and bicycle path, completely free of cars, with outdoor sports areas and children's playgrounds inspired by Gianni Rodari's nursery rhymes. You can work out in the many open-air gyms right by the sea."
Andrea Chiariello
"Nice place to walk when it's sunny ☀️☀️☀️
Not recommended when it's dark😱😩👹
Unfortunately, the lack of security in the evening is a bit of a sore point...
Among other things, the whole Miramare area (sea side) is not recommended in the evening...;
which is well known by all the inhabitants of Rimini..."
