Tip: first buy your ticket from the machine, and then join the line for the cable car (the entrance fee is €9 per adult)."

"Exploring this little castle and using the funicular to get to it is a must do trip when visiting Riva del Garda the views out of the castle windows and whole experience is quite amazing !
Be warned you will need to be wearing sensible shoes “not flip flops” to be able to make the steep and uneven surface climb up to the castle,
Once inside the castle there’s a steel walkway with steps to allow you to continue to climb and look through the windows and experience these incredible views !"

"Went here as soon as it opened and managed to skip the queues. Noticed there were people already at the top but I believe that is because walkers can gain access from the top. The views are pretty amazing from going up the sliding glass box on rails to the views from the top. The castle ruins is an added bonus and gives an opportunity for pictures. We got free entry due to the Garda Guest card which is worth looking into. A member of staff was very friendly, whilst changing lenses on my camera before entry I must have dropped my lens hood. He handed it back at the end so thank you!"
