"If you are lucky enough to be able to gain entry, this is a well preserved part of Augustus’s five houses on the Palatine Hill. Originally, it would have been connected to Augustus’s house, but now each one is accessed separately.
Livia was a powerhouse in Ancient Rome, with her son Tiberius eventually becoming an emperor. If you get chance, this is the best preserved Roman house in Rome. It’s hard to get in, as access is so limited, but it’s well worth it."

Absolutely amazing frescos plus an impressive visual show that projects the original condition of the house. I could visit this place many times.
