Hello. Im coming to Trastevere in june. Can you recommend some hip and cool restaurants and coctail bars in trastevere area? No need of fine dining but something more than regular restaurant. Cheers

I've compiled a list of restaurants for my Italy trip. I am not going to be able to go to all of these restaurants, so I would love your thoughts. Everything sounds so good, but who knows! Got these recommendations mostly from reddit, google reviews, and a few blogs/youtube…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Latteria is a highly-rated wine bar in Trastevere, praised for its exceptional natural wine selection and creative, modern Italian cuisine. While the food and drinks receive rave reviews, some visitors note that service can be slow, particularly during busy periods. Despite this, many consider it a hidden gem with a fantastic atmosphere.
"Beautiful place but the service…
We came for wine tasting and some snacks — it took them almost an hour to serve three small pieces of cheese on a plate and a few slices of bread. By the time it arrived, our wine was already warm. Really disappointing experience.
When we ask where is the food, the water didn’t even apologize, “the kitchen is full”, really?! For 3 cheeses??
Or you let us know at the beginning it’s going to take some time or at least apologize to us. One hour for 3 cheeses!"

"This bustling little wine bar in Trastevere was once a dairy, thus the name. It has a great selection of natural wines, which I love, but also less ‘alternative’ options for those who prefer them as well as craft beers. Staff are friendly and happy to make suggestions or pour tastings to help you select. I was here alone for a quick drink before dinner and felt very comfortable perched at the counter on my own relaxing and people watching. Great looking eats too – I’ll be back for them!"

"Loved our experience at Latteria. They have a fantastic selection of wine but the food was the real star for me. The cannelloni was amazing and one of the best dishes I've had in Rome. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. Would love to go back the next time I am in Rome."
