"A very very old Christian church dating back 2000 years. Built in a Roman style, it doesn't have all the decorative trimmings of the very ornate Catholic churches that were built much later.
It has both a simple interior and exterior and is a stunning example of a church of this age.
The gardens adjoining the church are filled with fragrant orange trees and the view is amazing.
The timber ceiling as you enter is incredible, as is the mosaic piece of a Monk, which is roped off and covered by perspex in the centre of the church."

"The patron saint of the temple is St. Sabina, a Roman patrician who was martyred for the Christian faith in the 2nd century. The doors of the main portal are made of cypress wood, and these are the original doors of the temple dated between 420 and 450. These doors were originally decorated with 28 bas-relief panels depicting biblical scenes, 18 of which have survived to the present day.
