Reviews Summary

Sant'Ivo alla Sapienza is widely praised as an architectural marvel, with visitors consistently awestruck by Borromini's innovative design and the unique interior. However, its extremely limited and often unpredictable opening hours are a significant point of frustration for many potential visitors.

"It's under construction on July 2025, but still beautiful for some great shots. Only take less than 5 minutes at this place so perhaps still good to drop by. From here, you can walk to the piazza navona or pantheon to continue the journey. Nearby are lots of food establishments for your meals and resting so go ahead and drop by this place without worries."

Perfect for an architecture student. The perspective at the gate made unforgettable impression. Boromini did master the perspective and made it to our eyes unlike St.Peter epic failed ahaha. I’m lucky enough to visit inside the church: it’s doesn’t seem so big but it attracted us to look up always my neck kinda hurt after a while. Anyway, for me, the best in Rome.

The church only opens on Sunday in a short period of time in the morning. However you can appreciate the court any time and sometimes I could go up to the first floor also."

"Under construction in September 2025 but you can access the little courtyard. Not busy at all and nice time to enjoy this marvel of baroque architecture"
