Diners consistently praise the friendly and efficient service, even during busy periods, and the generous portion sizes offer great value. "Service definitely made the review at 5. Aaron was fantastic. We were promptly asked if we had any questions, asked if we were ready to order with a good time, and given a suggestion for the wine (ended up getting the cesanese for about 24€ which we liked). I had the lamb and potatoes, she had the carbonara, we got a side of chicory for our greens for the meal, two desserts, and a Coke and water —it cost just under 90€ with the whole bottle and a service fee (very normal here if you haven't been anywhere else).
Food we'd give a 4 out of 5 because of the carbonara.... NOT saying it's bad by any means we've just had some amazing carbonara throughout our time in Italy. I will add the texture was great! (Not scrabbled eggs like some other places). We also had the tiramisu in Panna cotta both were pretty good
Environment— also a 4/5 but mostly because we were sat at a table outside on a slight incline which made us a little nervous during our meal but we just put all drinks to one side and it was fine. They have warmers but don’t forget a jacket on cold nights.
I’d like to reiterate the staff here REALLY makes the experience. We will definitely return when we’re back in Rome!"

"To be completely honest, I found this place on some TikTok video, but it was definitely worth it. This restaurant is massive with tons of seating inside and a massive outside patio. They Had a waiting line based on your party size - greater than 4 were in a separate line. We actually only ended up staying in line for about 10 minutes before we were seated at a table. Our server came by and asked us what we wanted and we quickly picked two of their famous pastas. The food came within 10 minutes and was really hot and fresh. They probably did have the stuff ready to go, but it didn’t taste like it. Both pastas were really good and decent amount of quantity however, I was still left wanting more. The pesto tasted like true pesto and the pasta was al dente. We opted to skip dessert and get gelato on the way out. This place does have a bathroom, but the amenities were running pretty low and there was a line for the bathroom as well. They do a good job of turning over tables quickly, but we did not feel rushed at all to leave. All in all, one of the better sitdown experiences we had in Rome."

"We walked 40 minutes to get to this restaurant, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and they made us feel so comfortable from the moment we arrived. They were especially sweet with our toddler, which we really appreciated.
The food was delicious… truly delicious. We ordered the coda alla vaccinara (oxtail), tonnarello all’amatriciana, and the tonnarello carbonara. Every dish was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We started with bruschetta, and finished with a tiramisu that was the perfect ending to the meal.
We ate outside, and even though it was very busy, we were seated in less than 5 minutes. We arrived around 7:15 PM, and the atmosphere was fun, lively, and really enjoyable.
Highly recommended — definitely worth the walk!"
