· Spacious & Modern: The station is vast, clean, and feels very modern. The high ceilings and open layout prevent it from feeling cramped, even during busy periods. Navigating between tracks is generally straightforward.
· Excellent Amenities: A major plus is the supermarket on the ground floor. It's incredibly convenient for grabbing water, snacks, fresh fruit, or anything else you might need for your journey at reasonable prices, avoiding the typical tourist markup.
· Great Exchange Find: I was pleasantly surprised to find a currency exchange shop near the station that offered a fantastic rate – arguably the best value I saw anywhere in Italy. It's definitely worth comparing rates here before exchanging money elsewhere in the city.

Roma Termini is a massive train station, serving as a primary gateway for domestic and international travel across Italy and Europe. The station's architecture is a blend of historical and modern elements, making it an impressive sight.
Inside, you'll find a wide range of food shops and restaurants, as well as plenty of self-service train ticket machines for a quick and easy experience. The platform information is clear and easy to follow, which is essential given the station's size. For seamless movement, both escalators and stairs are available to connect the various levels of the station.
If you are going through Metro, have some time in hand as from getting off from Metro and reaching the Main platforms will take some time.

The station definitely needs air-conditioning in hot weather. Air circulation is bad. Seating area is also less in comparison to the number of tourists transiting from station.

However, I have to mention that the area around the station didn’t feel very safe. I saw a lot of homeless people nearby, and the atmosphere was uncomfortable, especially in the evening. I would recommend being extra cautious with your belongings and avoiding walking alone at night in the surrounding streets.
