"AM I the first reviewer? ha ha. I'm originally from Rovigo but leaving in US for 13 plus years. Visited back for my wedding. Piazza Vittorio did its job. You can walk the portici, sit down for a spritz in 1 of the 3 4 bars, get a good gelato and look your kids running in the square free of car. I don't know why as a foreigner you should visit Rovigo but if you are the square is good hang out spot."
