What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
San Foca Marina is appreciated for its helpful marineros and good fish restaurants, offering a pleasant stop with kind hospitality. However, some visitors find the shower facilities basic and the staff's attitude inconsistent, with high prices for beach amenities. Despite minor drawbacks, it's a recommended spot for a restful stop and exploring the Salento coast.
"Nice marina and very helpful marineros. Without the bow thruster they will go out with a dinghy and settle you in. Small showers and quite dirty. Unfriendly staff. I asked for VAT 0% invoice and they thought that I asked for a discount. Very rude!!! Learn international law read article 44 of EU VAT regulation. Read what is VAT 0% invoice and when it applies. Plain stupidity at its worst! Staff refused to read and learn - closed mindsets. Exceptionally unfriendly and bluntly repelling. Sunbrella and two sunbeds 30 euro when 90% of sunbrellas and sunbeds are unocuppied! Made barter for 20 euro but had to sit in second row when first row was free. Repelling people. I only recommend this marina if you must rest!"

"Coming back from Greece we planned a stop in San Foca. We had a problem with the engine and we received a professional support for a safe mooring in a windy day. Besides we had a health problem with our dog a we received a great help to solve the matter. So what makes nice a place is first people: ospitality, kindness and availability to help as seldom found. Congratulation !"
