"We had an amazing wine-tasting experience here that really cemented an appreciation for the wine-making heritage of Tuscany! After days of cycling around and seeing vineyards up-close, it was great to go in and learn about Tenuta Di Arceno, their curved vineyards, and their presence in the area. Ginevra was an incredibly confident, warm, and knowledeable "tour guide" for this tasting. We asked several questions that she answered very well; it was obvious she knew wines intimately and wasn't simply regurgitating memorized facts.
We highly recommend coming here, enjoying the tour, taking in the view, dining on their cheeses and panzanella, and taking the Tenuta Di Arceno Chianti Classico Riserva back home! ;-)"

"The quality of a wine tasting can be impacted by many things. First and foremost is the quality of the wine. But that can be helped or hindered by the tiny food bits that are paired to the tasting. The knowledge and nature of the person giving the tasting can also mean that you learn about and appreciate the wines either more or less.
On this rainy day in Tuscany, we drove over an hour to Tenuta di Arceno which we consider to be one of the best wineries in the region. We tasted 8 wines while learning a great deal about each of them along with the defining characteristics of their most recent releases. Andrea freely shared his time and knowledge with us making for one of the best tastings we have done in recent memory. His team also created one of the finest charcuterie assortments to pair with the wines that we have ever had. Kudos to the Tenuta di Arceno team for helping us to have such a wonderful day! At a stunning location overlooking the vineyards, we enjoyed a truly exceptional and inspiring wine tasting led by a lovely and friendly lady. She gave a clear and engaging explanation of the different wines produced on the estate, as well as insights into the surrounding nature and local wildlife. There was plenty of time and space to ask questions, which made the experience even more personal.
We were the only group present, and the four of us tasted no fewer than seven different wines. In addition to three Chianti Classicos, we also tried a rosé and two Super Tuscans.
Alongside the wines, a variety of small bites were served, perfectly matched to each wine.
It was an unforgettable experience.
