"A beautiful Calabrian town, unfortunately now with few inhabitants. It extends over several hills, making this a town with a series of ups and downs of streets and alleys that allow you to move from one neighborhood to another.
From the imposing and tall buildings, it's clear that it was once a densely populated town, now reduced to approximately 4,000 inhabitants.
There is a very important aqueduct that brings water from one neighborhood to another that was without it.
The aqueduct was designed and commissioned by Saint Francis of Paola, a saint whose devotion is deeply felt here in Corigliano.
There are 16 churches, once 20.
The town needs renovation to restore its splendor, a renovation that is currently being carried out in a patchy fashion, giving the town a sense of urban chaos.
As mentioned, the town extends over several hills connected by streets, alleys, stairways, and alleys. I personally walked 13 km and only visited a small part of the town. I forgot, there's a beautiful castle on the highest hill overlooking the entire town."
