What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Seiser Alm's breathtaking, fairy-tale-like scenery and vast, peaceful meadows, making it a must-see in the Dolomites. While the hiking is excellent and the views are consistently praised, some find it hot in summer, parking challenging, and note that multiple lift rides can add up.
"I visited in late October 2025, during the autumn season, taking the cable car from Ortisei town with a pass that included the cable car to Seceda (65€). There weren't many tourists at the time, so buying a ticket for the cable car didn't require long queues. The platform above is a path that winds through the mountains and meadows. The path isn't too difficult, but it would be great if you had a pole to help you. The view and the mountains are magnificent. The golden fields contrasting with the bright sky are incredibly beautiful. It makes walking around without getting tired, like walking in a part of a Disney movie scene."

"Certainly, P' Tong. Here is the English translation:
Visiting Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm), which is the largest high-alpine meadow in Europe, is an experience that is just as romantic and impressive as Seceda! You can conveniently take a cable car up from Ortisei to reach the top. Here, you'll find vast, sweeping green alpine meadows surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Dolomites. It is an ideal spot for taking a leisurely walk, capturing beautiful photos, or hiking along the many available trails. The peaceful atmosphere and magnificent natural scenery make Alpe di Siusi feel like a paradise on earth that you should not miss when visiting the Dolomites."
