"A really peaceful part of Syracuse that almost feels abandoned until you go into the main entrance and you meet the lovely staff in a breezy modern area.
The tours last around 40 minutes and you’re only allowed to take picture of the places at ground and above ground level, so if you’re going with the intention to take picture of the catacomb you won’t be allowed.
It’s a very impressive, spooky and engaging place with vast history from the ancient Greeks to world war 2 bomb shelter use.
Tour guide was helpful but it would be nice to be able to wonder by yourself a bit so it feels more relaxed, but otherwise there is no fault.
Thank you"

The total tour is about 1 hour and ended with a brilliant 3D virtual reality mask taking you back in time . My wife and I truly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend this if you are in Syracuse."
