What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the excellent quality and value of Soave wines, with many highlighting the welcoming and informative nature of winery staff during tours and tastings. The historical charm of the region and the picturesque vineyards add to the overall positive experience. However, a few reviewers noted that some staff can be impatient, particularly around the 1 PM 'riposa' closing time, which can detract from an otherwise great visit.
"Wonderful Experience. We initially stopped by just to buy a few bottles, as we unfortunately arrived too late for a tasting or tour. However, Alberto was incredibly kind and welcoming. He took the time to explain the Soave wines to us and even offered tastings of the bottles we were interested in. We truly appreciated his patience and clear explanations. The wines are excellent—especially considering the price. Highly recommended!"

"Great winery with unique blends and an interesting history. Definitely worth a visit and the prices on the tour were extremely reasonable. The best part is the wine shop that sells plenty of wines for prices at or below what you’d see in a store. No over inflation here.
Our tour was great and we had a wonderful guide. She was very courteous and informative and even engaged with our children. I wish I could remember her name but she was extremely friendly.
The only reason for the downgrade was for the guy working the desk. Apparently they begin Riposa at 1300 sharp. We had just spent €100 on a tour and were trying to spend a lot more on wine. However the gentleman checking us out was extremely impatient, short in his answers and overall very unpleasant to talk to. Once we paid, he whisked us out the door, refused to answer questions and then locked it behind us and turned off the lights. I know they opened later because our guide mentioned other tours that afternoon.
It was an unfortunate ending to an otherwise great experience. It’s sad how one person can be so unwelcoming that it overshadows the rest of the good the place did.
Overall I strong suggest swinging by if you can…just don’t come close to 1300."

"We e-mailed in advance to see if we could do a tour, but even though only the tour in Italian was available, we had a great time. We got to visit the cellars and loved the degustation of wines at the end. Highly recommended."
