Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Parco Archeologico Città del Tufo to be a fascinating and historically significant site, particularly praising the unique Etruscan tombs and the dramatic Vie Cave. While the ancient paths are captivating, some note the challenging terrain and the need for proper footwear and insect repellent, especially during warmer months.

"Really interesting and well worth a visit. There is a ticket office just on the left, as you go through the main gate. We paid €7 per person, which was a fair price we thought. The lady in the ticket office was very informative and very helpful. Things you need to know if you are visiting - bring a good pair of walking shoes, a drink and plenty of insect repellant (or if your like me and seem to attract to mossies regardless of what you spray on - bite cream). There are a lot of steps, some very uneven and the paths can be slippery."

"Nice place to see the history of ancient Italië. It contains burial sites en roads made by the Etruscans. All man made without heavy machinery we use today."

Tim Breman

"Pretty cool place. Just saw the main tomb though. About 20 minutes to do that. Make sure you bring €5 in CASH per person as their signal is poor in the ticket office."
