What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests consistently praise UNAHotels Capotaormina for its breathtaking location, stunning sea views, and excellent amenities like the private beach and unique pool. The convenient shuttle service to Taormina town is a major plus. While some find the rooms a bit dated and hotel dining expensive, the overall experience is highly recommended for its beauty and service.
"We stayed at UNA Hotels Capotaormina and really enjoyed the experience overall. The location is stunning, with beautiful views and direct access to their private beach. The pool is also lovely, though be aware that in the afternoons it gets quite crowded since the private beach loses the sun after about 1pm (it sits on the side of the rock).
Our room was very spacious, with a large balcony, a comfy bed, and nice touches like complimentary wine, beach towels, and in-room coffee. There’s a mini fridge with items for purchase as well. The only downside was the shower head, which didn’t work so well—not a huge deal, just a small annoyance if you’re picky about showers.
Breakfast was incredible, one of the best parts of the stay. The service throughout was excellent, and the hotel also provides parking and a shuttle into Taormina, which is really convenient.
Food at the hotel is on the expensive side, especially compared to the rest of Sicily, though that seems to be the norm in Taormina (definitely pricier than anywhere else we visited in Italy).
I was beyond impressed how they built in the mountain they are situated on and actually walk through this cave to get to the pool and beach - phenomenal.
Overall, this is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for views, comfort, and great service, I’d love to try another UNA hotel."

"My husband and I stayed here 3 nights during our 3-week Sicilian vacation. We chose this location especially to celebrate my birthday as we wanted to spend it in Taormina. The private beach and pool right on the water makes this hotel everything and more. The views from breakfast are stunning and the water is magnificent. If you are looking for a hotel to enjoy the sea, pool, and waterfront views choose here! There is a free hotel shuttle that runs all day as it is impossible to walk to town and taxi's are outrageously expensive. Bring water shoes to enjoy the beach as it is very rocky. The hotel breakfast and restaurant does need improvement along with room renovations but other than that we would definitely stay here again and very glad we did. Grazie."

"The amenities here are fantastic – the private beach is stunning with clear water and super comfy loungers, the pool area is beautiful with great staff, and the private jetty makes ocean swims so easy. The gym is also really well equipped.
On the downside, the rooms and interiors feel very outdated for the price (old curtains, wall colors, and furniture), so not the most inviting space to relax in. Reception staff weren’t always the friendliest or proactive. Coffee was disappointing both in-room and at breakfast, though the barista coffee by the pool was excellent.
Amazing amenities, but the rooms and service don’t quite live up to the cost."
