Hello everyone. Do you happen to know where I can buy antiques affordably here in Turin?
The most famous place for antiquity shops is the Balun, a nice zone of Turin near Porta Palazzo. One sunday every month they organize an open market of antiquities, and if they still do it every sunday there's an open market thrift shop

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Balon Flea Market offers a mixed bag for visitors. While it's praised for its historical items, vintage clothing, and potential for finding unique treasures, some long-time visitors feel it has lost its former vibrancy and has been 'cleaned up.' Concerns about pickpockets are also noted, though the antique shops are considered a good option for discerning buyers.
"For all those who are looking for things with history and are fanatics of vintage. Welcome to this market. Furniture, paintings, photographic equipment, jewelry, clothes, shoes and much more. Also, this location will be useful for restaurateurs and hotel owners, as the furniture that is presented here is always in excellent condition and often in a complete set.
Good luck with your shopping 👻"

"A good place to pass a Saturday morning. The historic restaurants have a wide variety of typical piemontese food. And the market of used products is amazing and you can find everything. Just be aware that some of the items might be stolen."

"The Balon is good but used to be better, nevertheless among the ocean of junk you can still find some gems. For the most discerning clients the antique shops offer a better option but good are priced accordingly. Despite the normally heavy police presence, like all markets, this is a haven for pickpockets so travel there with just essential money."
