Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Galleria Sabauda for its vast and beautiful art collection, particularly Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces, and the stunning palace interiors. However, the extremely brief guided tour of the Armory is a common point of disappointment for those specifically interested in it. The separate charge for a small ground-level exhibit is also noted as a negative. Reddit

"A large, well-priced museum with many awesome pieces. However, if you are there for the Armory, know that you will have less than 10 minutes in the room. They do small guided tours and only allow 10 minutes per group. Unfortunately, for me, this is worth docking the star. I visited here SPECIFICALLY for the armory as I am a medieval weapon collector. I don't mind that there is a small group guided tour, but it was so quick. My wife and I were taking pictures and only got about halfway through the room when the guide forced us out and they said we could not visit a second time :(

The palace itself is truly spectacular and the art is vast and beautiful. Definitely one of the best museums minus the armory issue.

CLOSED WEDNESDAY so plan accordingly."

Revan Kon

"There is the amazing exhibit that is part of the palace tour. It is roughly $20 for two people. It has all the art and beauty. However, there is an exhibit that is at the ground level that is separate that literally is paintings taken out of the main exhibit and they charge you double the price to see them. It is very small but really not worth it. Shameful. The palace is beautiful just stick with that."

Colter Warren

"Enjoyable visit looking round the museum and gardens (15 euro per person) If you want to see the shroud it's in the Cattedrale just round the corner."
