Planning a trip to Turin and love food, art, and scenic views. Any top recommendations for a first-time visitor?
Palazzo Madama has a lot of art and you can climb up the tower to get a very scenic view of the city. Not as great as the one from Superga, obviously, but Madama is right in the city's centre while Superga demands more time to get to. If you do have enough time, Superga has the…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Regione Piemonte Tower is a modern architectural landmark, praised for its innovative design and the unique 'hanging forest' on its top floor. While the building is fully operational and staff are professional, public access to the upper levels, including the panoramic views, is currently restricted, primarily serving regional government workers.
"A young skyscraper, now twenty years old, thanks to the idea of Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, which opens the doors to Turin South. It's fully operational, but the parking lots aren't yet open. It's a shame it's not accessible to the public, especially the top, but I understand the region's work requirements. There are numerous checks to ensure entry, and remember, we're in 2025 (replying to some reviews apparently written by people who perhaps don't know how to use the tool they used). I also don't understand why they cite regional or municipal policies or decisions when the review is simply saying, for example, that the skyscraper is operational, accessible, the staff is friendly, etc.
I'll conclude by saying that the staff is indeed professional and friendly, but that the rooftop is indeed somewhat left to the exclusive use of the workers when it could be a perfect public space of high quality."

"The skyscraper of the Piedmont Region is an institutional building in Turin. Designed by Massimiliano Fuksas and presented to the regional council held in Turin on 22 November 2007. The completed work has 42 floors above ground, of which 41 are for civil use and the last one is used as a hanging forest."

"I was inside the Piedmont Region Skyscraper to take the phytosanitary license exam.
Bright, new, and clean spaces with vibrant colors create a comfortable work environment. Numerous express elevators allow you to reach all floors, and the staff is very friendly and competent.
Highly recommended if you're passing through. A tour of the top floor, where a hanging forest has been created, offers a splendid 360-degree view of the entire city of Turin. 🏙️"
