What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the breathtaking views of Stromboli's volcanic activity, especially at sunset and night, calling it a mesmerizing spectacle. The beauty of the Aeolian Islands and the clear waters are also frequently highlighted. However, some guests found the breakfast offerings to be poor and the wifi unreliable. A few reviews mention issues with early morning access and aggressive staff, though these seem to be isolated incidents.
"This was our second time staying and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The food at the beach bar is excellent — great quality and reasonably priced. Our room by the beach had stunning views and a lovely terrace. The team at the beach bar were warm and welcoming. Very close to Tropea and you won’t find any similar prices.
Breakfast has a good variety, including bacon, eggs, and fresh fruit.
The only issue was with early morning access. We had to leave at 7am and found both the beach and hotel gates locked, with no one at reception and the access card we were given not working. It would be helpful if the reception provided clearer instructions and ensured better access for guests with early departures, especially since this wasn’t mentioned at check-in.
Overall, a great stay — we’ll definitely return."

"The beach is beautiful and the water crystal clear. The spring entertainment by the pool was pure joy — energetic, fun, and added a lively atmosphere (our windows faced the pool, and thankfully we were happy to watch rather than sleep 😄).
The view of the volcano is absolutely breathtaking — definitely one of the best vantage points to admire it. Truly mesmerizing!
The breakfast was a bit disappointing — very poor buffet. The shuttle from the beach was also oddly organized, but that’s just a small thing.
Everything was wonderful (except breakfast). The volcano view and the overall vibe make this place truly special. Definitely recommend!"

"Nightmare, avoid at all costs.
1.Location, no shops or readtaurants nearby, only taxi, if you are very lucky uber will cost 10 to the nearest town. Reception will get you a taxi for 30, but charge you 40 after the stay. So a tri to eat can be 80 euros daily.
2. Food, i am not picky, and will eat almost anything but what they serve here is on another level of disgusting, lost some wheight, could not eat breakfast without gagging, coffee horrible instant crap. No free water, only tap , gives uou diarreah, some extra weight loss.
3.Staff, agressive, will not help in anyway, asking for some minor thing will get you yelled at, not a thing i like, and never happens in my country, i am a polite, educated well travelled person.
Trash, trash, trash everywhere, how can someone live in a paradise and turn it in to a trash can, i can not phathom.
Don't ruin your go somwhere else, like tropea pizzo, etc."
