What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Aquarium of Trieste to be a charming, inexpensive stop, particularly ideal for families with young children. While some note the tanks could benefit from more cleaning and imagination, the affordable entry and the addition of a reptile section and kids' play area make it a worthwhile, albeit brief, experience.
"A nice activity to do with children. Not big, not too small, 45 min - 1 hour is enough for the visit. In summer it's a bit hot inside, at least the library /play room could have been fresher."
Pinar Dilek
"Poor Conditions!
The animals have to live in dirty habitats that seem liveless! Only a few rocks are in there.
I have only paid 1β¬ to get in but i would lohe to pay more to see a happy place with happy animals. It should be a fun for the hole family but it only made me sad....
I would not go there again!"
Arnie Unterwegs
"Needs some love and imagination. The tanks are quite dirty and some are empty. I felt sorry for one big fish in a very small tank - there are worse things than being on a dinner plate! The vivarium on the first floor is marginally better, with a collection of snakes and reptiles. The English translation is very poor though and much didn't make sense. However, the reptiles seem to be cared for better than the fish."
