"The riserva naturale has all the advantages to be just in the outskirts of the city though it's fairly difficult to reach unless you have a car especially if you don't know the area as signs are scant and part of the main footpath is also blocked. The small beach can get very busy in the summer and at weekends and there's a cafe and restaurant nearby offering some very basic but cheap fare. More could be done of it particularly for tourists."
