On a nice day mount vesuvius is nicely visible but the day these fotos were taken was not one of those
The only downside is that all of those spots where you can stop are very filthy and loaded with trash"

"The actual vista point is 100 feet away. You can take bus easily or drive. The view at the vista point is amazing panoramic view of Naples Bay! You can see Mount Vesuvius, Pompei, and the Naples Bay. I haven't been to Pompei but from this vista point I could see it :) It was a surprising stop by our tour of Alamlfi coast."
