"Sacro Monte Funicolare was closed for maintenance over September, and scheduled to reopen on October 3rd 2025, however with the national strike on that day may be later. A mini bus currently replaces it.
The alternate walk up is much more rewarding...take your time to catch your breath whilst appreciating the changing view that reveals through twists and turns...a very rewarding trail."
