Reviews Summary
Antico Forno is widely hailed as a must-visit for its exceptional pizza, particularly its unique thick-crust pies with fresh, flavorful toppings. While prices are on the higher side for Venice, the generous slice size and quality justify the cost. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere add to the overall positive experience, making it a beloved spot for locals and tourists alike.
"Was initially a little skeptical considering how thick the crust was, but wow - really good pizza. At €5.50/slice, prices aren’t exactly cheap compared to other pizzerias in Venice/Italy, but worth the price paid. The slices are also quite big. Very friendly staff who are happy to heat up your selection for dine in. There are only about 8 seats (bar stools) but I was lucky it wasn’t busy. Had the mushroom with ham and also the prosciutto. Both were quite delightful. If you’re looking for something quick and good, I’d recommend this pizzeria."

"20 years ago, I stumbled upon this pizza joint. I was blown away by it. I've never knew that tomato paste and cheese on dough could taste so good.
Im back after 2 decades and so glad they are still here! Still the same experience, crispy dough, tomato and cheese... still mind blowing...
Seriously I've had a good amount of pizzas but this is way up at #1 for me."

"Easily our favorite pizza place in Venice. The dough is thick but airy, the toppings full of flavor — Diavola was perfect. On our second visit, we arrived just before closing, ordered one slice, then another, and they even gifted us half a slice — such lovely people. We paid around €11 the first time and €17 the second. If our hotel were closer, we’d probably have eaten there every day."
