Reviews Summary
Hotel Danieli is a breathtaking, historic palace offering an unforgettable Venetian experience with opulent decor and stellar service. Guests rave about the stunning lagoon views, especially from the rooftop terrace and canal-facing rooms, and the hotel's prime location near major attractions. While some note minor drawbacks like early morning noise from boats or a compact breakfast buffet, the overall consensus is that the hotel's grandeur and historical charm make it a truly magnificent and memorable stay.
"Close to ponte dei sospiri, piazza San Marco and doge palace.
It's an hystorical hotel being renovated and some parts of it were closed. Other than that renovations didn't affect our visit, it was very quiet.
The hall and ground floor architecture is magnificient. The rooms facing the canal have exceptional views, there is some noise during the early mornings due to boats and peoples traffic on riva degli schiavoni. Rooms aren't high tech but in this case it adds to the atmospheare. Unexplicably rooms do not have a coffee/tea station.
The breakfast buffet is small and was not completed by a la carte menu (except for extracts), but here again the views play a major role."
Cerca Trova
"Hotel Danieli is an absolute Venetian dream, a classic Italian treasure that transports you straight into a bygone era. It truly lives up to its fame, feeling less like a hotel and more like a beautifully preserved palace or castle.
The grandeur is matched by the stellar service; the staff are unfailingly friendly and attentive. Rooms are not only comfortable but elegantly designed, maintaining a sense of historical charm without sacrificing modern luxury.
A highlight you simply cannot miss is the breakfast on the terrace. The view over the lagoon is breathtaking, and if the stars align, you might even have a small, feathered visitor join you for coffee! It's little wonder Hollywood has chosen this exquisite setting for so many films like Moonraker (1979), the Danieli is a star in its own right. A truly magnificent and memorable stay."

"GREAT place!
Top Hotel in Europe or in the world?
We had only a cold beer and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon in the incredible bar, with wery nice staff late in October. 🥰
One local beer 33cl was 16€, not to bad for this kind of place.
The interior is just WOW, wery Instagramfriendly. 👀"
