"Beautiful if a bit quiet in the weekday. Wonderfully restored. Giant paintings by Tintoretto and a few others. The statue of Madonna of the vegetable garden is tucked away in a corner chapel, which is used for daily mass. Giant bell tower.

"The church is busy with visitors but it is still possible to appreciate the paintings. I liked the building. If you are a fan of Tintoretto then this is indeed a treasure trove for you. His art doesn't appeal to me personally. Be prepared for a cold reception from the person you must pay to enter. He seemed discommoded do you have to deal with paying visitors disturbing his cell phone activity. No greeting, no warmth. Sad...."
