"Incredible historical Ancient Greek-Roman-Bizantine complex, only 2.000 square meters of more than 150.000
Mosaic’s floor, Roman SPA Termæ, colorful marble and thousand wonderful manufactures."
Francesco Negri
"Area Archaeological Villa Romana. A must see. You need to book or at least arrange with the Comune di Casignana as they are not always open on the weekend. Weekends are normally by bookings. We had Mr Romeo, I fell in love straight away. Some how I am sure he may have been part of this site thousands of years ago. A man with love and the desire to share. It is more than a "spa", it is a part of history with so much to discover. Mosaics, a craftmanship which does not even exist today, and if it does it is rare. A workmanship, "technology" lost. Goodness I shall return"
Maria Calipari
"Absolutely worth the visit! Roman Villa next to the seaside, lot of history. Recommended to arrive close to the opening hour, either morning or afternoon, to enjoy a little tour courtesy of the staff, and learn more about the Villa. Particularly Giuseppe is very knowledgeable on the history of the Villa and we appreciated immensely rediscovering this beautiful place."
