"What an amazing experience!!! It was a beautiful, educational, peaceful, and uplifting time at the sanctuary and with our guide and new friend Fritz. Walking in you see a beautiful home and property. Then we were led to the large wooden patio where you can sit and feed these beautiful birds. Besides the amazing view we were instructed on how to get the hummingbirds to land on our fingers and feed on sugar water. What a unique and wonderful experience to have the birds sitting on your fingers or on your legs that close. Meanwhile Fritz told about the history of the place and identified and told us about the birds. After we had done that for about an hour he gave us a tour of the fauna and foliage around the house. We learned about some of the medicinal benefits of the plants and enjoyed walking the property. Could not recommend this more highly."
