Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Dogra Art Museum for its rich collection of Dogra heritage, especially the exquisite Pahari miniature paintings and historical artifacts like weapons and costumes, all at an incredibly low entry fee. However, some note the lack of detailed descriptions for exhibits and the absence of internal restrooms.

"Jammu is a very heritage rich city and you must visit this place if you want to see that heritage. This is a grand old building having king Palace 👑 and a very good museum. The museum showcases almost all kinds of weapons used during Dogra Rule in wars. It also showcases the different kinds of clothes, utensils and jewelry used by Dogra communities.
I am 100% sure that you will be very happy and informed to know the rich culture of the Dogra community and its rulers of Jammu. A very special place to visit."

"A place representing Dogra art and their Army efficiency.. with an entry fees of just rs 10. But if need to click the pictures u will have to pay more..

Sanyogita Srikant Rajawat

"Full of Dogra art & culture, it was a delight to visit this museum.
They have ancient Sharada and Devnagri manuscripts, ancient coins, old pottery, olden dresses, weapons, miniature paintings which can be seen minutely with a microscope, etc.
Photography was prohibited.
You can spend upto half an hour in the museum, more if really interested.
There are no restrooms. You have to go to the main gate for a paid smelly washroom experience."
