Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Roadside Station Ayahashi Sea Road Hall a convenient stop with scenic waterfront views and a free local culture museum. While the museum's exhibits are primarily in Japanese, the facility is praised for its accessibility and the availability of local products and dining options. However, some travelers have experienced issues with inconsistent opening hours, being turned away before the stated closing time.

"The opening hours are a lie; we arrived 45 minutes before closing and were turned away rudely by a woman who gave us an angry glare and put her arms in an X to indicate the place was closed. Unfortunately, she also prevented access to the museum upstairs."

Serenus Hua

"Nice museum of local culture, sea life and boats. But nothing in English. Free entrance though so it worth to see it. There is also a photographs exhibition and they have very nice pieces there."

Petra Lasovská (ペトラ)

"This rest stop, lies along the causeway, going to the outer islands, off of Okinawa;s east coast in the City of Uruma. It is a convenient place, along the waterfront, to observe water sports taking place. Local products are sold at reasonable prices within the gift shop and, refreshments, as well as snacks are available. Inside, towards the rear of the building are, two places to eat. One is a steak house, the other, sells less expensive meals. Both places, I have eaten at and, recommend either, depending upon your appetite and budget. The Gift Shop sells some unique items at touristy prices, refreshments are available, similiar to what would be found in convenience stores and there are restrooms, which are kept clean The entire building is stroller and handicap friendly."
