What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests consistently praise the Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills for its stunning Tokyo Tower views, exceptional service, and luxurious amenities. The complimentary happy hour and well-appointed rooms are frequently highlighted as major positives. Some travelers found the initial navigation to the hotel slightly challenging, but most agree the overall experience is well worth it.
"We stayed 4 nights and it was lovely. I enjoyed the gym and pool. The room was spacious and the service was fantastic. We had breakfast every morning and it was delicious and seemed to have high quality ingredients, lots of options as well. It was a little difficult navigating to the hotel, especially on the first day. The subway station was about a 5 minute walk and i appreciated that it wasn’t in the smack of town. Made it quieter. Everything was high quality down to the hair dryer they offered - I will definitely be staying again when I visit Tokyo."

"My stay at the Andaz Toranomon Hills was one of my best experiences from my trip to Japan. From the very moment you arrive you can feel the most welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is spotless and very visually pleasing. My room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom and the bath tub was the highlight of my stay, I had my own little onsen in my room. Overall, Andaz exceeded my expectations and now I'm looking forward for my next stay. Thank you for your marvelous service."

"I stayed at the Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills this past autumn, and rather than repeat what many reviews already cover, I wanted to share a more personal and concise take based on my own experience.
We arrived around 11 a.m. and were pleasantly surprised to learn that our room was already ready. Even better, we were upgraded to a Tokyo Tower 🗼 view room, which was an incredible way to start the trip. Another thoughtful touch was the luggage service. We handed our bags to the bell desk on the first floor driveway and later found them waiting for us in our room on the 47th floor.
The room itself was excellent. It felt cozy yet luxurious, and the view was stunning. We spent a lot of time simply watching the city and the changing light displays on Tokyo Tower. One standout feature for me was the complimentary amenities. I had forgotten my hair styling wax, and to my surprise, the exact product I use was available for guests at no charge.
Although we didn’t dine at the hotel restaurants, we visited the Rooftop Bar every night. The staff there were fantastic and consistently made sure we had a window table since we were staying at the hotel. I highly recommend the matcha-based cocktail, the Kiyohime Amazake. It was unlike anything I’ve had before. The hotel also hosts a complimentary happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. in the lobby, with excellent small bites and drinks. Even though it’s technically self-serve, the staff frequently stopped by to top off drinks or offer something new. I especially enjoyed the rotating whiskey selection. A special shoutout to Michael, who went above and beyond with his service and conversation. His warmth and local recommendations truly elevated our stay.
Some guests mention that the hotel’s location isn’t ideal since it’s in a business district, but I found it to be very convenient. Two subway lines run directly under the hotel, with Ginza and Roppongi only about ten minutes away. Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ebisu were also easy to reach by train, and we often found Uber to be convenient as well. Shimbashi Station is about a 15-minute walk, and Ginza is roughly 20 minute walk away (if you decide not to take the subway). I highly recommend walking toward Shimbashi to discover great local restaurants, then continuing toward Yurakucho for the small, under-the-tracks eateries. Some of our best meals in Tokyo were in that area.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we changed our itinerary to spend our final three nights in Tokyo back at the Andaz. The staff remembered us and even noted our preferences for our return visit, which really speaks to the level of care and hospitality. I would strongly recommend the Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills, even if only for one night. The quality of the rooms and the service make it well worth it.
As a final note, the complimentary rice crackers (arare) offered in the rooms, during happy hour, and at the rooftop bar are outstanding. I’ve been eating rice crackers since childhood, and these are easily the best I’ve ever had. They come in several flavors, so be sure to try them all."
