Reviews Summary

Visitors often praise the Ashikaga Museum of Art for its surprisingly rich collection of local art and its intimate, uncrowded atmosphere. The friendly staff and unique setting within a former bank vault are frequently highlighted as positive aspects. However, some note the museum's small size and the general prohibition of photography.

"When I went there was various exhibits for a children's author group - ザキャビンカンパニー. The exibits were interactive and children there with their families had a great time playing with the exhibits. I'm told its usually not so interractive. The staff were lovely, one woman in particular was very helpful and spoke English very well. Thank you!"

"I knew was a very small scale museum, so my expectation was relatively low before going in. To my surprise, the museum turned out to be a trove of local arts. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the arts displayed. There were only a few of us walking through the galleries when I visited. There is a plenty of place to park around the museum if you are driving. Too bad that they didn’t allow photography, so I have no photos to share here."

"私の散歩コース。I love the place for nice relaxing place. There is coffee shop also.(quiet)And take Pokémon spot 2.Every 5 mints you can get ball."
