"After visiting Shikisai-no-Oka, we drove to Sanai-no-Oka on the way back to Furano. Sanai-no-Oka occupies a small hill besides the road and car park. It is not a destination attraction per se but is still a nice and quiet place to enjoy the beautiful 360º panoramic views.
When my wife and I visited in July, there were 2 small family groups present. Perhaps its remote location makes it conducive for drivers to break their journey here and take a rest. The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing.
Although we were there in the evening and left when it was still bright, we imagined that the serene landscape and views would be quite magical at night."
