Old Town is where San Diego began… but for a lot of us, it was just the field trips and taco spots growing up. I never realized how much history lived in these streets until I came back with new eyes. From the preserved adobe homes to the old blacksmith shop, it’s a reminder that this city been in motion long before we coined the name. #OldTownSanDiego #SanDiegoHistory #StoriesInMotion #CityInMot...

San-A Hamby Town is praised as a well-stocked, foreigner-friendly shopping complex with a great deli and a variety of goods across two floors. Visitors appreciate the English labeling and easy navigation, making it a convenient spot for groceries and more. Some find the dining options on the second floor to be a pleasant surprise.

"This is a smaller shop but still carries the essentials. There’s a supermarket, a clock shop, and a drugstore on the first floor and the second floor has baby items, a ¥100 shop, and some clothing.
There’s also a delicious vendor that sells freshly roasted sweet potatoes!"

"Hamby Town San A is first floor where you can shop for groceries. Hungry after shopping? Would be nice if there's a nearby Cafe 🍵 fortunately there is and it turns out it's actually kinda hidden so you have to go to the 2nd floor and then go to the kids underwear section then you'll see two restaurants. Enjoy!"

"San-A is the local Okinawa Grocery Store chain that is, by far, the best chain on the island! They have a well stocked variety of all your local Japanese classic brands, foods, and items. This store has a robust Delicatessen section that has tons of hot prepared food ready for consumption throughout the entire day, as well as some prepared meals and bentos as well! This is a store that has a lot of their aisles and items marked in English, so if you're a foreigner who is unfamiliar with Japanese, it is really easy to navigate the store and figure out what you are buying and looking for! Even their self-checkout counters are in English and Japanese, so you can easily purchase your items without any issues. Credit Cards are obviously accepted!

Seriously, if you have not been to a Japanese Grocery Store before, this is the one to try for your first time! Very easy to navigate as a foreigner, very simple and easy to understand, and the wide variety of foods and flavors they have will make it a complete experience for you! I cannot recommend this place enough!"
