"I visited Chiba Port Tower by taking the Chiba Urban Monorail and getting off at Chiba-Minato Station. From there, it was about a 10-minute walk to the tower. The area is quiet and scenic, and not too crowded.
This is definitely one of the best towers I’ve visited in Japan. On clear days, you can enjoy the amazing views of Mt. Fuji and Tokyo Skytree from the 4th-floor observation deck. The entrance ticket costs 420 yen for adults.
Please note that the new 5000 yen note doesn’t work in the self-ticket machine, but you can buy tickets at the counter. On the 3rd floor, there’s a nice cafe. The 1st floor has a souvenir shop (with a supermarket corner too) and a play area for kids.
I especially recommend the soft, creamy ice cream sold at the shop..it was really delicious!
There’s also a park nearby with access to the beach, which makes it a perfect spot for families and couples.
Highly recommended for a relaxing and scenic half day trip."
