"We had a wonderful time at Tateshina Shinyu Onsen. The staff were extremely attentive and the food was exceptional.
Unfortunately there was a major storm during our stay which resulted in the unavoidable cancellation of the rest of our stay due to loss of power.
The way that the staff handled this event was remarkable. They did everything they could to keep guests comfortable, helped to arrange alternative accommodation and provided transport as well as refunding our stay.
In our case, one of the staff not only drove us to our next hotel but then waited while we dropped off our bags before driving us to the nearby golf course where we were due to play!
Thank you for your hospitality and we hope to stay with you again (hopefully with better weather)."
