What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Akihabara Culture Zone for its immense variety of anime figures and collectibles, describing it as a niche mall for otaku culture with friendly staff. However, many note that prices are significantly higher than elsewhere, making it more of a browsing experience for some.
"This building has many shops selling basically anything from anime merch to figures and model kits. The main floor is great for cheap figures and character good like pins, acrylic stands, keychains and plushes. The upper floors are a mix of figure shops and character goods. Note that Astop, the store with all the out of box figures on display is a consignment shop which means people sell there figures there and the store has no control over the prices that why you will see some figures being sold for very high prices. That being said you can find some great prices depending what your looking for. Just note that some figures are being sold for 500-600$ when they are only worth around 40-50$, but that’s just what the seller is asking for. I found a few figures here for very reasonable prices. The main floor is probably the best choice for prize figures while some of the upper floors have scale figures as well and model kits."

"This was the only place that I found Dark Souls action figures. I was looking for it at Osaka, Kyoto and then Tokyo. Despite the fact that the prices were so expensive, so I don’t bought anything, unfortunately."

"So many good quality seconds hand stuff! Staff are friendly and accomodating as well. Make sure to stop by here!"
