What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bic Camera Akihabara is praised for its vast selection of electronics, cameras, and anime goods, with many visitors appreciating the tax-free shopping and friendly service. Some confusion arises from display-only Gundam models, but overall, it's considered a comprehensive and convenient shopping destination in the heart of Akihabara.
"Very cool store with a lots of goods. Just the Gundam areas is really cool but they aren’t for sell and this is very confusing since prices are super low for those type of goods. Most of them are just for display… Unfortunately… :("

"This is my second visit to Akihabara after almost 40 years. I don't have a lot of time. However, I need to visit an electronics store to compare my experience from nearly 40 years ago. The Bic Camera AKIBA Store is conveniently located near where I exit the car. I decided to check them out. The store has seven levels. I am about to check out six levels and purchase four items in 30 minutes. I wish I had more time. I received very friendly customer service in every department I visited. All items have prices clearly marked with basic information, indicating whether the item is 100V for Japan only or 100 to 240V for international models. Bic Camera is an excellent store; I'll shop there again next time I come to Japan."
