What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the incredibly fresh and diverse milk selection, often calling it the best they've ever tasted. The unique location within Akihabara Station and the friendly service, particularly from an older lady, are frequently highlighted positives. Some find it a bit tricky to locate, and the on-site consumption rule requires planning.
"Milk in a glass bottle is just the best! Happy that there is a place like this where milk from diff prefectures can be tried in 1 place.
Service is quick, so best to decide before even approaching the counter. With so many to choose from and a language barrier, Google Translate will be your best friend.
Also note that some milk can be served both cold and hot. Just make sure to specify during purchase because the default is cold.
Pretty sure there’s no wrong choice in this store. All boils down to preference.
Happy milk drinking🐮"

"I saw some reviews said the old lady wasn't friendly. I was coming here and ready to be scold or something and the old lady was very friendly! This is not a sarcasm review.
I went there and asked which milk is the best seller. The old lady recommended it and even tried to give short explanation to us in Japanese (sorry I didn't understand a thing). There was a misunderstanding in payment but she tried to solve it politely and the problem was cleared in an instant.
The milk was delicious! However since it was kept in cold storage, the milk was cold and you must drink it on site (some milks can be taken away). In my opinion, I couldn't enjoy myself to drink cold milk and in a hurry to catch the train. It is better for you to come here and spare longer time for a better experience.
*don't worry about the service. The old lady was so warm, kind, and friendly 🥺"

"An excellent milk shop in the train station. There are over 20 varieties of milk in glass jars. They require you to drink it there and return the milk bottle. I’ve been a few times now and loved it each time."
